RHYS MARKET · Legal
Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering Policy
The measures RHYS MARKET applies to prevent fraud, money laundering and illicit financing: verification levels, controls, holds and cooperation with the authorities.
Version 2026-10-28 · Takes effect on 13 November 2026
Key points
- RHYS is not a bank or an exchange house: the Wallet is an internal balance for operating on the platform.
- Two account levels: unverified and verified (document, selfie and liveness check).
- Identity verification is done by a specialised provider; a person reviews doubtful cases.
- Using RHYS from sanctioned countries or by sanctioned persons is prohibited.
1. Purpose and scope
This policy applies to all users, listings, deals with Escrow RHYS, Wallet movements, plans, promotions and the RHYS Partners programme. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions. Its purpose is to protect the community and prevent RHYS MARKET from being used to scam people, move money of illicit origin or finance prohibited activities.
2. Principles
- Know your user: request the information needed according to the risk of each operation.
- Proportionality: more controls when the amount, frequency or risk signals justify it.
- Human decision: automatic controls raise alerts, but measures affecting money are decided by a member of the team.
- Record-keeping: we keep a record of verifications, alerts and decisions.
3. Account levels
| Level | What is requested |
|---|---|
| Unverified | Confirmed email address and two-step verification (2FA) with an authenticator app to move money. |
| Verified | In addition, full name, document type, number and country, photos of the document, a selfie and a liveness check (KYC). |
- A confirmed email address is enough to publish listings.
- KYC is mandatory to get paid as a RHYS Partner and whenever the team requests it due to risk.
- We may ask you to verify yourself again if your details change or if the risk justifies it.
| Limit | Unverified | Verified |
|---|---|---|
| Withdrawals | 300 USDT per day and 1,000 USDT per month | 5,000 USDT per day and 30,000 USDT per month |
| Transfers with PIN | 300 USDT per day | 5,000 USDT per day; more than 1,000 USDT only between verified users |
| Amount of a deal | Up to 1,000 USDT | Up to 30,000 USDT |
If you do not complete a KYC we have requested, money features that exceed your level remain restricted until you complete it.
4. How identity is verified
- You submit your details and photos from your account and declare that they are authentic.
- If it is rejected, we tell you the reason. You may correct it and submit it again, and ask for another member of the team to review the rejection by writing to [email protected].
- You may also, optionally, verify your WhatsApp (by sending a code to our official number) and your Binance Pay (with your first withdrawal approved via Binance Pay).
Verification is done automatically by a specialised provider based in the European Union, using the photo of the document, a selfie and a liveness check. Doubtful cases are reviewed by a member of the team. The provider keeps the images and RHYS keeps only the text data, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
You may resubmit your KYC up to 3 times a month.
KYC data are retained for 5 years after the account is closed, as set out in the Privacy Policy.
5. Transaction controls
- Deposits: between 10 and 100,000 USDT per order. Only payments confirmed by the provider are credited; incomplete, expired or flagged-for-review payments are not credited until the team has reviewed them.
- Withdrawals: reviewed and approved manually by the team, with two-step verification.
- Transfers with PIN: require 2FA and PIN. They are immediate and cannot be reversed.
- Deals with Escrow RHYS: the money is held until the deal is completed, cancelled or the dispute is resolved.
- RHYS Shield: our own system that analyses risk signals (device, network, VPN or proxy, matches with blocked accounts, reports) and calculates a risk level. A VPN on its own never blocks an account. If a person matches the identity of a blocked account, access is automatically denied and they may request a human review.
6. List screening
After a verification is approved, the team manually checks the data against public sanctions lists and lists of politically exposed persons (PEP). For now this check is neither automatic nor periodic; we may check again if your data changes or if the risk justifies it.
7. Red flags
Among others, we review the following situations more carefully:
- Deposits followed by immediate withdrawals without real activity on the platform.
- Many accounts linked to the same device, document, Binance account or network.
- Amounts split up to avoid controls, or deals between linked accounts.
- Altered documents, a third party's identity or data that do not match.
- Reports of scams, chargebacks or notices from a payment provider or an authority.
- Activity from sanctioned countries or by sanctioned persons.
8. Sanctioned countries and persons
You may not use RHYS MARKET if you reside or are located in North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba and the regions of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk, as well as any other country, region or person included on the United Nations or US OFAC sanctions lists, or if you or whoever controls you appear on those lists. In such cases we may refuse registration, reject KYC, block deposits or withdrawals and close the account.
KYC requires the document country and automatically rejects documents from those countries.
9. Holding and freezing of balances
If there are reasonable indications of fraud, money laundering or stolen accounts, or an order from an authority, we may freeze the account's withdrawals and transfers and hold the balance linked to the suspicious operation.
We notify you of the measure and the reason, unless the law or an authority prohibits it or notifying you would compromise the investigation. The freeze lasts as long as necessary and at most 90 days from the notice; after that we release any balance not linked to the fraud, unless there is an order from an authority, an open dispute or legal proceedings.
If the police ask us to freeze funds without an order, we only apply a preventive freeze of 72 hours due to the risk of fraud, pending the order.
10. Reporting suspicious transactions
Where the law requires it, we report suspicious transactions to the competent authority (in the Plurinational State of Bolivia, the Financial Investigations Unit, Unidad de Investigaciones Financieras). In such cases the law may prohibit us from telling you about the report.
11. Cooperation with authorities
We provide information to the authorities only in the cases and subject to the requirements of the Law Enforcement Requests Policy, and we keep a record of each disclosure.
12. Record retention
We keep Wallet movements, deals, disputes and fraud records separately, even if you delete your account, for the period set out in the Privacy Policy.
13. Consequences of non-compliance
Depending on the severity, we apply the sanctions set out in the Community Guidelines. Serious fraud or a confirmed scam leads to the immediate blocking of the account and any linked accounts.
14. How to tell us
If you suspect fraud, use «Reportar» (Report) on the listing, profile or message, or write to [email protected] with the subject «Fraude» (Fraud). Never send passwords, PINs or codes, not even to the RHYS team: we will never ask you for them.
This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency, the Spanish version prevails, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
